FAQ's

When will my order be posted?
Orders will be posted within 2 working days of cleared payment.

When will my order be delivered?
Once posted this is what the delivery companies advise in full working days;
First Class & First Class Recorded - Aim for 1-3+ days
Standard Parcels - Aim for 3+ days
Special Delivery - Aim for 1 day
Airmail - Aim for 3-7 days
International Signed For - Aim for 3-7 days
Courier Yodel - Aim for 1-3 days
Courier Yodel - Aim for 2-4 days

My order has not arrived
Sometimes it might be worth checking with your local post office/sorting office where items would be left if no-one in, as I do get a few packages sat in such places as no card was left or lost.
Please allow a few days for delivery via Courier or Special Delivery and 7 days for other services.

Combined Postage and Packaging
We have tried to work out the best postage weight, which has to be based on if individual items were posted. We add between 40p and £1 to cover packaging costs then any overpayments will automatically be refunded once posted.

Do you offer international postage?
Yes I offer international postage to Europe. We do not sell worldwide - only to UK & Europe.

What are the Packaging costs?

Postage costs for items that can be sent as a large letter?
Currently I can only put postage costs based on weight and not size. Any orders that can be sent as royal mail large letter will be and the postage savings will automatically be refunded.

How Long do Royal Mail allow before a package is classed as lost?
First Class and First Class Signed For  - 15 full working days after posting
Airmail and International SIgned For - 20 full working days after posting
(after this time we can submit a claim as lost)

Can I make payment over the phone?
No sorry I don't have credit card facilities so I'm unable to take payment over the phone.

Payments Accepted
UK - Paypal, Cheques, Postal Orders, Cash.
International - Paypal only accepted.


Cash on collection from us
Is by appointment only so please contact to arrange.


What is your privacy policy?
AW Birds takes every measure possible to ensure the privacy of your personal information.  At no time will we share any unauthorised information stored in our customer database with any third party.  We currently use outside delivery companies to deliver orders, and outside payment processing companys for the Internet purchases.  These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
