Farmers French red millet sprays are grown in the Anjou regions of France, they are said to contain more than 3 times as much nutrient value of the Chinese yellow millet spray. These red millet sprays are loved by all cage birds an ideal treat especially for babies.

Sourced direct from farmer in the Loire region of France, the millet is a more loose spray and is in our opinion a better quality than some other millet.

Millet Sprays are a rich source of B-vitamins and trace metals and are also gluten free.

Millet Sprays are also high in Carbohydrate and low in fat, with around 10% protein content.
For most birds a Millet Spray is a welcome treat, from the smallest of finches to large Macaws a millet spray is a nutritional and stimulating food item.
They also come into their own when babies are being weaned (sprays can encourage them to eat when they have yet to find the seed pots) and at shows after judging. Budgerigars and seed-eating birds and for Parrots and Parakeets.

Soaking; You should first rinse the seeds well using a sieve, then put the rinsed seed in a container with fresh water, (the water level should be 2 or 3 times the height of seed, as they will expand as they absorb the water), and allow to soak overnight. I would strongly advise that a water sanitiser such as aviclens or Vanodine is used while soaking, just a few drops are required to prevent harmful bacteria. Rinse thoroughly the next day then provide to the birds.
Disregard any uneaten soak seed that evening / next morning.
